About Us

Premier HR Consulting is a full-service human resources company that specializes in helping small to mid-size businesses establish the internal structure they need to scale successfully. With a wide arrange of capabilities, Premier HR Consulting’s expertise lies in talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits and compensation, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), training and development, and compliance. Premier HR Consulting also works with more established organizations to perform executive searches, conduct leadership training, lead internal investigations or assist in the selection of an internal team of human resources experts to drive success as they scale. We currently partner with clients both nationally across the United States and internationally.

After 20 years of creating value for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, and major growth brands as a leading HR executive, Tamara was motivated to tap into her family’s entrepreneurial spirit and start her own consulting company to better support growing organizations that were in dire need of human resources services but lacked the knowledge of where to start. She founded Premier HR Consulting in 2017 to help more ambitious decision-makers and successful entrepreneurs gain access to professional-level human resources strategies and internal tools that could position them for successful growth without sacrificing their own time and resources. Through Tamara’s years of experience working in the corporate space, she amassed a wide array of human resources across a number of industries including financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, construction, consumer products, hospitality, aerospace, telecommunications, non-profit, technology, entertainment, and professional services; this wide breadth of experience ultimately transformed Tamara into an expert that can help almost any organization adapt to internal growth via a unique array of scenarios.

As a professional member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Association for Talent Development, Tamara strives to always remain professionally up to date with new human resources trends and business growth opportunities. She is passionate about connecting with top-tier business leaders to analyze their current challenges and formulate impactful solutions for their organizations. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Spelman College and her Master of Science in Human Resources and Development from New York University. Tamara is also committed to community service and currently serves on the Board for Habitat for Humanity.
